As Rob Kardashian and Blanc Chyna’s rarely-seen seven-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian made her catwalk debut at New York City Fashion Week, some fans are concerned she is ‘too young’ for the spotlight
As 7-year-old Dream Kardashian made her runaway debut at New York City Fashion Week, many fans have raised concerns that she is “way too young” to be thrust into the spotlight.
This week Rob Kardashian and Blanc Chyna’s rarely-seen daughter participated in her first-ever fashion show and also launched her very own Instagram account. Dream – who is also the granddaughter of Kris Jenner – made her iconic fashion debut at the Zues & Lexi Kids fashion show in New York City on Saturday.
And while the young Kardashian looked adorable strutting down the runway in a black and grey jacket and jeans and her curly waves bouncing in the air, many fans feared what her future could hold. This comes as other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have previously opened up about being thrown into the public eye at far too young of an age and what it was like being under intense public scrutiny.
In a newly posted Reddit thread, one fan wrote: “I hate how they’re pushing their children out there already. Have they learned nothing from doing that with Kendall and Kylie? They’ve both spoken out about how it impacted them…” And another replied: “She’s way too young for a nyfw appearance.”

Another user fumed: “Let them be KIDS.” While someone else sympathetically penned: “I feel sad for her. She’s a beautiful child but this feels very strange and sudden.” While someone else took aim at her father and wrote: “Rob said, SOMEONE has to provide.”
This comes as Kendall Jenner, who is the daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, previously opened up about her childhood in the public eye and how adjusting to fame did not come naturally to her. She explained that since she is a more reserved person, it has been a difficult journey to have her every move under a microscope. This comes as Kendall’s fame began when she was just 11 years old after the first episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered.

During a candid interview with Glamour magazine last year, Kendall explained: “I was born into this life, but I didn’t choose this life. I’m not built for [fame] by any means…. I’m not good at it. I do it, and I’ve learned how to do it,” she continued: “It took me [almost] 20 years to be like, Okay, I guess I’m getting used to it now and it’s fine and I get it.”
Kendall went on to add that she does not take her circumstances for granted, but she never purposefully sought after the attention. She told the news outlet: “I consider myself one of the luckiest people on the planet to be able to live the life that I live…. I’m not going to sit here and say, ‘Poor me’ [about the attention], but I do think that it’s pretty intense…. People are more mean to my family in general. They take everything and make it a bad thing.”
