Chelsea and Arsenal have agreed on a price for a final deal for keeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The Saints are interested in the Gunners’ 26-year-old England custodian again after their deal for Feyenoord’s Justin Bijlow fell through because of a failed medical.

Southampton tried to loan a player to Arsenal earlier this month, but Arsenal turned them down. Now, Southampton has come back with a new offer of £18 million, which could go up to £25 million with add-ons.

The deal to buy Ramsdale for £24 million from Sheffield United in 2021 is set to happen on Thursday.

 

This summer, a lot of teams have been interested in him, and Wolves are one of them.

Joan Garcia, 23, is the best player for Espanyol. If the moves can be completed by Friday, he will be moving to Emirates.

Liverpool is also said to have kept an eye on the former Spain Under-21 star.

 

 

But it looks like Arsenal will be able to sign him.

Last season, Garcia was great, and Espanyol won promotion back to LaLiga.And Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, has a backup ready to play if David Raya gets hurt.

It is thought that he has a release clause of about £21.4m, but Arsenal is said to have agreed to pay more like £25m.

 

The Gunners could also look for a stopper from their own country to add to Raya and Garcia as backups in goal.

It comes after Estonian star Karl Hein left on loan to play for Rayo Vallecano in Spain.

A product of Arsenal’s school Over the summer, Arthur Okonkwo made his loan move to Wrexham official.

Wolves turned down an offer for Englishman Dan Bentley, who is 31 years old.

The latest choice being thought about is Wigan’s Sam Tickle, who plays for England’s Under-21 team.
