The movie taps into childhood fears and brings to life the legendary figure who is said to prey on disobedient children.

Plot Summary:

The story centers on Sofia (played by Marisol Nichols), a rebellious teenager who is placed under house arrest after getting into trouble at school. While confined to her home, strange things begin to happen in her neighborhood, as children start disappearing under mysterious circumstances. Sofia, along with her younger sister Amelia, becomes increasingly suspicious of the legends surrounding the Cucuy, a mythical creature said to kidnap naughty children.

As the disappearances increase, Sofia, confined to her home, must team up with her friend and neighbor Gabriel to investigate the truth behind the Cucuy legend. They soon discover that the legend is real, and the Cucuy is stalking the town, hunting down children and taking them to a dark, unknown realm.

Sofia must race against time to uncover the creature’s secrets and save her sister and other missing children from the Cucuy’s grasp. With the help of her grandmother’s knowledge of the folklore, she learns how to confront and defeat the terrifying creature.
