The first images of the standard, non-Foundation Series Tesla Cybertruck have been shared online. The photos were shared on social media platform X by a Cybertruck Foundation Series owner.
Tesla started sending out invitations to order the standard, non-Foundation Series Cybertruck on Thursday night. The invitations hinted that deliveries of the standard Cybertruck were starting this October to November 2024. Thus, EV community members speculated that it would only be a matter of time before the first images of a non-Foundation Series Cybertruck are shared online.
As it turns out, the wait for the first photos of the standard Cybertruck would not be long. By Friday morning, the first photos of what appeared to be a standard Cybertruck were shared on social media platform X. The photos were posted by Tesla community member and Cybertruck Foundation Series owner @greggertruck, who pointed out a number of changes that seem to have been implemented on the all-electric pickup truck’s standard variant.
Apart from the missing “Foundation Series” badging on the vehicle, the standard Cybertruck was also absent of any accessories. The vehicle does not even have bed rings. While this was understandable to lower the vehicle’s price, some Tesla owners noted that the standard, non-Foundation Series Cybertruck looked very bare compared to the all-electric pickup truck’s first edition.
The Foundation Series package, which costs an extra $20,000 on top of the Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast’s starting price, includes FSD, which is priced at $7,000 for early reservation holders; Cyber Wheels and Covers, which are priced at $3,500; and White Interior Color, which costs $2,000. The Foundation Series Cybertruck also came with lifetime Premium Connectivity and a $2,500 Tesla Shop voucher.
Other free accessories that came with the Foundation Series package include 3D All-Weather Interior Liners, Gear Locker Dividers, Glass Roof Sunshade, D-Rings, L-Track Hooks, L-Track Bottle Opener, Center Console Tray, Powershare Home Backup capability, Powershare Mobile Connector, and an Off-Road Light Bar for the Cyberbeast.
