Elbaf is an arc that was set up in the story long before the timeskip. In fact, two decades have passed since this arc was set up, and now, fans are finally getting the payoff with the Straw Hats heading there. Elbaf is sure to be ecstatic in more ways than one. It is presumed to be one of the biggest arcs in One Piece. In terms of scale, this arc should be somewhat similar to Wano Country, which fans have recently witnessed in the story.

Many big events will take place on this island, and at the same time, the world on the outside is going to be extremely chaotic as well. There are many important players that Oda has already highlighted who will play a massive role in the Elbaf Arc, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what exactly these individuals are going to do.

The Big Players From The Land Of Elbaf

The Giant Warrior Pirates Will Be Very Important In Elbaf

When one talks about the Elbaf arc, they have to focus on the people from the island first. From the island of Elbaf, fans don’t know too many characters yet, but there are certain individuals that fans know will surely play a major role. For instance, Dorry and Brogy are two of the most important characters in Elbaf who are likely to shine. This is especially true because fans know that they are currently in their prime, and at the same time, both of them are the Captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Dorry and Brogy are also the ones who successfully rescued the Strawhats from Egghead and are currently taking them to their country.

These characters are bound to shine, and with them, there are other individuals who will shine as well. From the land of Elbaf, fans also know that Saul is a character who is going to be very important. It was recently confirmed in the Egghead Arc that Saul is actually alive and that he is currently living on the island of Elbaf. This individual has become a scholar ever since and he has acquired a tremendous amount of information about the world of One Piece and its past. He is likely dying to share this information with the Straw Hats, and likely believes them to be the saviors of the world. It will be interesting to see how Saul and Nico Robin get along later down the line in One Piece when they do finally meet.

Other characters from the land of Elbaf are going to shine, including the likes of Hajrudin. He is a pirate and also a member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Hajrudin has not been focused on in the story for quite a while, and Elbaf is going to be his time to shine as well. Given that he’s a part of Luffy’s fleet, he should have some special attention given, and fans can only hope that he sets the world alight, because he certainly does deserve it.

Yet another character that fans know is going to be important in Elbaf is none other than the prince Loki. Loki was first introduced to fans in the Whole Cake Island Arc. He was supposed to marry Lola, but, because she ran away from Whole Cake Island, Big Mom tried to get him to marry Chiffon. The plan failed terribly, and the relationship between the Giants and Big Mom soured even further. There might be other characters from Norse mythology who are going to be very important in this arc, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how the series progresses in regards to the other characters that will be introduced.

Elbaf is an arc in the Final Saga, and that in itself means that it is going to be handled in a very different manner when compared to other One Piece arcs. In general, all the arcs in the Final Saga of the story are going to be handled much differently. This is something that Oda has clarified himself.

Oda has gladly said that in the final part of his story, he plans on focusing on not just the Strawhat Pirates, but on many other factions in the world. This means that there is going to be a lot of back and forth in the Elbaf arc, and there will be moments where the story will be focused on Elbaf, and in other moments, fans will be taken to different seas across the world, where many major events are likely going to be taking place. This format was first seen in the Egghead Island Arc, and it is likely to continue in the Elbaf Arc as well. This also means that the Strawhats are not the only ones who are going to see their plot progress further in One Piece. The other powerful Pirates, Marines, and Revolutionaries are all going to be thrown into the mix as well.

When one speaks of individuals who are going to affect the plot greatly outside of Elbaf, the first people that come to mind are the Yonko. Fans know that the Yonko are going to be very important, and while Luffy will be in Elbaf, all the others are going to make their own move. Blackbeard is likely planning something major, and it is highly likely that he will ask the Government to give him kingly status at Hachinosu in exchange for Garp. This could lead to an all-out war that fans will be very excited to see in the Final Saga. Meanwhile, Shanks is likely going to target Blackbeard, which, once again, sets up an exciting battle. Buggy, on the other hand, has not had much to do in the Final Saga so far, but, with Elbaf, now is his time to play a major role in the story and set himself up for glory in the coming future.

With the Pirates, the Marines are going to be making moves as well. It is likely that Hachinosu will be invaded by the Marines in order to secure the escape of Garp the Hero. At the same time, fans also know that the sword unit of the Navy is going to be called into action once again. As to what they are going to be doing exactly, fans do not know. Similarly, there is also another faction that will be focused on by Oda quite a lot too, and that is the Revolutionary Army. This Army is incredibly powerful, and they have recently declared war upon the Celestial Dragons. This means that they are going to be taking quite a lot of the spotlight in the Elbaf arc, and that they will most definitely fight against the likes of the World Government officials, such as the God’s Knights, and many other powerful foes.

Of course, then, there are the Strawhat Pirates, who fans know will be central to the arc, as they always are. This does not come as a surprise to any fan, which is why it doesn’t need to be discussed at much length. The Strawhats have always been important characters in every arc, and they will be important here as well. Among the Strawhats, the ones to watch out for are Usopp, Robin, Luffy, Sanji, and, perhaps, Nami.
