Escape Room is a psychological horror-thriller directed by Adam Robitel. The film plays on the growing trend of escape room experiences, but with deadly consequences. It combines elements of suspense, mystery, and survival horror as it follows a group of strangers who must solve a series of complex puzzles to escape life-threatening rooms.

The story centers around six strangers—Zoey (Taylor Russell), Ben (Logan Miller), Amanda (Deborah Ann Woll), Mike (Tyler Labine), Jason (Jay Ellis), and Danny (Nik Dodani)—who are invited to participate in an immersive escape room experience, with the promise of a grand prize of $10,000 for the winner. Initially, the participants believe it to be a simple game, but they quickly realize that the rooms are not only intricately designed but are also deadly traps.

As the group moves from room to room, the stakes increase, with each space presenting new dangers and challenges, such as extreme heat, freezing cold, or illusions. The players must use their wits and survival instincts to solve the puzzles, but as they do so, they start to discover personal connections to the rooms and to each other.
