“No tenemos el control”. Peacock ha revelado el primer avance de una nueva e intrigante serie llamada Teacup, una serie de ciencia ficción, terror y supervivencia apocalíptica que se transmitirá próximamente. Atrapados en una granja en la zona rural de Georgia, un grupo de vecinos debe dejar de lado sus diferencias para unirse ante una amenaza misteriosa y mortal. Su lanzamiento está previsto para octubre, justo a tiempo para la temporada de terror, por supuesto. James Wan, productor ejecutivo, explica: “Teacup desafía las etiquetas fáciles… Es una mezcla de terror, misterio y drama que cambia el género, con capas que se desarrollan como un rompecabezas cautivador”. La novela original en la que está “inspirada” titulada “Stinger” se desarrolla en el transcurso de un solo día en un pueblo llamado Inferno, TX. Lo visitan dos ovnis diferentes, uno de los cuales contiene un cazador extraterrestre conocido sólo como “Stinger”. ¿Entonces es una batalla entre dos extraterrestres y los humanos están atrapados en medio de todo? Pero parece que la serie es un poco diferente. Protagonizada por Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Kathy Baker, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, Chaske Spencer, Boris McGiver y Luciano Leroux. Este es un adelanto escalofriante que resalta el pavor atmosférico de la historia.
