Lullaby is a supernatural horror film directed by John R. Leonetti, known for his work on *Annabelle* and *Wish Upon*. The film centers on the eerie power of an ancient lullaby, drawing from elements of dark folklore and supernatural terror.
The story follows a young mother, Rachel (played by Oona Chaplin), who finds an ancient lullaby in a dusty old book. Believing it to be a harmless way to help her baby sleep, she starts singing it. However, as the lullaby takes hold, strange and malevolent forces are unleashed upon her and her family. What was supposed to be a comforting song soon turns into a nightmare, as the lullaby invokes an evil spirit connected to an ancient curse.
As the sinister presence grows stronger, Rachel must unravel the dark history behind the lullaby and find a way to protect her child from the supernatural terror that threatens them. The film explores themes of motherhood, fear, and the dangers of meddling with forces beyond human comprehension.
With its atmospheric tension, unsettling imagery, and chilling use of music, *Lullaby* taps into the primal fears of parenthood and the unknown. The film blends modern horror with folklore, delivering a story filled with eerie twists and terrifying encounters with the supernatural.
